The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced on the 24th that Lumpy Skin Disease occurred at a dairy farm in Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do.
With this confirmed case, the total number of Lumpy Skin Disease cases reported at farms nationwide this year has increased to 24.
The Ministry dispatched an initial response team and an epidemiological investigation team to the farm to control access and conduct an epidemiological investigation to prevent the spread of Lumpy Skin Disease.
The Ministry urged, "Please strictly adhere to basic quarantine rules such as disinfection and barrier quarantine when outsiders or vehicles enter the farm, and pest control, disinfection, and cleaning within the farm's livestock facilities."
