On the same day, former President Moon made these remarks during a meeting with Kim Seon-min, Acting Party Leader of the National Innovation Party, who visited his private residence in Pyeongsan Village, Yangsan, Gyeongnam, according to a press release from the Innovation Party.

Former President Moon served as the secretary of the legal team representing former President Roh Moo-hyun during Roh's impeachment trial in 2004.

Moon emphasized, "At the time of former President Roh's impeachment, I believed that the suspension of duties and acting leadership system should end as soon as possible, so regardless of the outcome, we aimed to expedite the Constitutional Court's judgment," adding, "Even former President Roh himself cooperated for this purpose."

He continued, "One of the paradoxically positive achievements of this government is that it made the public recognize the necessity of prosecutorial reform," urging, "Please ensure its thorough completion during this opportunity."

Regarding former party leader Cho Kuk, who is currently incarcerated, he said, "I believe he will return even stronger."

Acting Party Leader Kim responded to former President Moon, saying, "Acting Prime Minister Han should strive to end the presidential impeachment phase early and stabilize state affairs, but he is showing unacceptable behavior, such as suggesting a veto of the special prosecutor," and added, "I will take the lead in active measures including impeachment of Acting Prime Minister Han."

Acting Party Leader Kim then moved to Bongha Village in Gimhae to pay respects at former President Roh's gravesite and visited Mrs. Kwon Yang-sook.
