Foreign Transit Passengers at Incheon Airport Tour Namdong-gu Soraepogu and Moraenae Market

Namdong-gu, Incheon announced on the 24th that it will operate a transit tour program that utilizes the transit time of foreign tourists at Incheon International Airport to visit the region's representative attractions, Soraepogu and Guwol·Moraenae Market.

The transit tour is conducted on a course that visits Soraepogu and Guwol·Moraenae Market, accepting applications from foreign transit passengers using Incheon Airport every Tuesday and Wednesday.

The tour is designed to allow foreign transit passengers to experience the various charms of Namdong-gu in a short time. Visitors will tour Soraepogu, a representative attraction of Incheon, including the salt warehouses, fish market, and beautiful sea scenery, and create memories at a photo zone with the Shrimp Tower as the background.

In particular, Sorae Railroad Bridge, narrow-gauge train, and Sorae History Museum offer tourists unique sights that can only be seen in Soraepogu. The Guwol·Moraenae Market tour provides not only various shopping opportunities but also a chance to experience the lively scenes and culture of the traditional market.

Park Jong-hyo, the district mayor, said, "The transit tour is a special program where you can experience the sea scenery of Soraepogu and shopping at Guwol·Moraenae Market," adding, "We hope that foreign transit tourists, tired from long journeys, will fully feel the charm of Namdong-gu."

Meanwhile, Namdong-gu conducted a foreign transit tourist tour over two days during the Soraepogu Festival last September, receiving favorable reviews for its region-specific marketing and has been promoting the expansion of the project.
