About 70 people, including participants of the Youth Center programs, tenants of startup spaces, operators of Cheongchun Ajit, and members of youth clubs, attended the event, which was held with enthusiastic responses.

The performance sharing meeting was organized to share and exchange the achievements of the Youth Center, Cheongchun Ajit, and youth clubs. Before the event started, violin performances by young people and traditional pungmul performances elevated the atmosphere.

In particular, Mayor Kim Dong-geun shared his experiences under the theme ‘Listening to Senior Youth,’ emphasizing that small daily habits such as reading and waking up early can be the foundation of success. He also encouraged a young person who passed the teacher certification exam through the Youth Center and was appointed as an elementary school teacher, while listening to voices from the field.

At the venue, various works created by the Youth Center, Cheongchun Ajit, and youth clubs, including pottery, glass crafts, pressed flower clocks, perfumes, picture books, photographs, and board game boards, were exhibited, attracting great interest from attendees.

The Youth Center presented the achievements of the past three years through a video, and Honorary Mayor of Youth Haru, Igeopa, also participated in the event, attentively listening to the performance presentations of Cheongchun Ajit and youth clubs and conducting interviews to share empathy with the youth.

The final order of the event was the presentation of ‘Youth Program Participation and Space Usage Reviews,’ and awards such as Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Merit Award were given to outstanding participants. Additionally, follow-up programs such as ‘I am Solo’ and ‘Youth Mental Health’ were prepared to add enjoyment.

Honorary Mayor Igeopa said, “It was meaningful to hold this performance sharing meeting while serving as the Honorary Mayor of Youth Haru,” and added, “I hope policies reflecting the realistic concerns of youth will be promoted and opportunities for participation will be further expanded.”

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, “We will create a Uijeongbu where youth-led policies and activities are further activated and youth take the lead in making changes,” and promised, “We will continue to listen attentively to the voices of young people.”
