Renovation Costs for Aging Facilities
Applications Accepted Until January 31 Next Year
Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 24th that it will accept applications for the '2025 Apartment Support Project' until January 31 next year to alleviate the burden of management costs for aging apartment complexes and improve residential environments.
The eligible applicants are ▲Mandatory management targets requiring project approval (apartment complexes with 150 or more households that have been completed for more than 10 years) ▲Non-mandatory management targets requiring project approval (apartment complexes with 30 or more but less than 150 households that have been completed for more than 15 years) ▲Building permit targets (multi-family or row houses with less than 30 households that have been completed for more than 15 years).
The support areas include ▲repair of parking lots and internal roads within complexes ▲installation and replacement of elevators and closed-circuit television (CCTV) ▲installation of eco-friendly vehicle charging stations ▲roof and exterior wall waterproofing, with support amounts covering 60-80% of construction costs, and up to 40 million KRW depending on the target.
In particular, next year, apartments that have installed inter-floor noise management committees to resolve inter-floor noise conflicts, as well as those involved in safety-related facility projects such as relocation of electric vehicle charging facilities and expansion of electric vehicle fire safety facilities, can receive favorable additional points (incentives) for support.
