Daejin University CEO Alumni Association Donates 4 Million Won to Pocheon City

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 23rd that on the 20th, the Daejin University CEO Alumni Association (President Song Ok-gwi) donated 4 million won through the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest to support vulnerable neighbors.

At the donation ceremony, six alumni members including President Song Ok-gwi attended, and the donation was deposited into the Pocheon City Hope Pantry to be used for various welfare projects such as living expense support for neighbors in welfare blind spots.


President Song Ok-gwi said, “Through the talent donation and sharing practice of alumni members, we will create a community full of love for our neighbors.”


Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, “We express our gratitude to the Daejin University CEO Alumni Association for practicing warm sharing for neighbors in need. The donated funds will be carefully delivered to those who need them most,” and added, “Pocheon City will also spare no support to create ‘a better city filled with greater happiness.’”


Meanwhile, the Daejin University CEO Alumni Association, established in 2003, currently has about 430 members actively contributing to the local community.
