Superintendent Lim Tae-hee has announced plans to transform the Jowon Government Building into a space that the Gyeonggi education family can utilize. Accordingly, the Jowon Government Building is undergoing a spatial restructuring project to be developed as a shared complex space for the future of Gyeonggi education.

This council meeting was held with construction stakeholders from various fields ahead of the main construction scheduled to begin at the end of December. The main topics included ▲integrated construction management ▲safety and environmental management ▲comprehensive solutions for potential issues.

In particular, the main construction involves various works such as demolition, seismic reinforcement, and renovation being carried out simultaneously. Therefore, the council focused on discussing ways to establish efficient communication and cooperation systems considering mutual interference among the complex construction processes.

Additionally, measures to minimize residents' inconvenience caused by noise and dust during the construction process were examined. Accordingly, execution plans such as ▲applying low-vibration and low-noise construction methods ▲utilizing noise and dust prevention facilities ▲operating high-pressure water spray devices were explored.

The Provincial Office of Education plans to prevent safety accidents and conflicts that may occur during construction through this council, and to create stable working conditions for workers while proceeding with the construction. Furthermore, it intends to minimize residents' inconvenience, actively strengthen environmental management, and promote the construction accordingly.

The Director of the Talent Development Support Division of the Provincial Office of Education said, “This council has laid the foundation for a systematic and successful implementation of the Jowon Government Building restructuring project,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to create a shared complex building where the educational community can come together through regular consultations and thorough on-site management.”
