AI Startup Automating Office and Trade Tasks... Accelerated High-Speed Growth 'Momentum'
Team Libutte, an AI solution development company specializing in trade and office automation (CEO Choi Seong-cheol), has secured seed investment totaling 1.1 billion KRW and was selected for the TIPS program by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, laying the foundation for rapid growth.
Team Libutte, a faculty startup from Pukyong National University, was founded in June 2023 as an AI startup developing trade automation solution ‘askyour.trade’ and office automation solution ‘askyour.work’ using large language model (LLM) technology.
Within one year of its founding, the company has been recognized for its outstanding technological capabilities and business competitiveness, successfully attracting 1.1 billion KRW in seed round investments. Recently, it was also selected for the TIPS program, a private investment-led technology startup support project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, which will accelerate securing research and development funds.
Investors in Team Libutte include public investment institutions such as the Korea Technology Finance Corporation starting in 2023, Busan United Technology Holdings, and Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center, as well as accelerators (AC) and venture capitalists (VC) like Sunbo Angels Partners, CNTTECH, and Series Ventures. Notably, investors with different characteristics collaborated to thoroughly verify Team Libutte’s technological capabilities and business potential before making their investments.
Team Libutte’s ‘askyour.trade’ is a SaaS solution that automates unstructured tasks of trade practitioners using LLM. By automating trade document preparation and processing, and communication with overseas buyers, the AI handles complex trade operations, helping small and medium-sized trading companies undergo digital transformation. ‘askyour.work’ is a platform that automates repetitive tasks of office workers, aiming to be an LLM-based AI agent model where an AI assistant handles simple tasks on behalf of users.
Based on this investment, Team Libutte plans to accelerate product advancement and market expansion. They aim to fully support the digital transformation of domestic small and medium trading companies with the commercialization of ‘askyour.trade’ within this year, and from next year, they plan to target overseas markets.
CEO Choi Seong-cheol stated, “This investment attraction and TIPS selection are results recognizing the value of Team Libutte’s technology and business model. We will lead work innovation in the trade and office sectors and grow into a company that contributes to enhancing South Korea’s export competitiveness.”
Industry experts expect Team Libutte’s AI technology to trigger a wave of automation across corporate operations such as trade, logistics, and office work, leading to productivity improvements. In particular, attention is focused on whether advanced AI technology can be integrated into key industries in the Southeast region, such as trade, logistics, and shipbuilding, to elevate industrial competitiveness to the next level.
