[2025 Regular Admission Special] Hanbat University to Select 100 Students Within Quota... Mandatory Korean History Exam

Regular Admission 100% Based on CSAT... Selection by Summing Reflective Factors

Hanbat National University will select 100 students within the quota for the 2025 regular admission.

By recruitment group, 55 students will be selected from Group A, 28 from Group B, and 17 from Group C. Any unfilled spots from the early admission will be carried over to the regular admission. The updated number of recruits can be confirmed on the Hanbat National University website before the application period. The departments recruiting in Group A include ▲Engineering (College of Information Technology, College of Construction and Environmental Design) ▲Design (College of Construction and Environmental Design) ▲Business Administration (College of Business Administration). In Group B, ▲Engineering (College of Engineering) ▲Humanities (College of Humanities and Social Sciences) will be selected, and in Group C, new students will be admitted to the College of Convergence of Engineering and Humanities (including the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies).

Hanbat National University’s regular admission is based 100% on the CSAT, with a total score of 500 points, combining all evaluation factors. For the engineering departments, 40% of the score comes from Mathematics and 30% each from the top two subjects among Korean, English, and Inquiry. Especially for engineering applicants, Mathematics (Calculus, Geometry, Probability and Statistics) is mandatory, and those who do not take it will be disqualified. The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies and the Humanities, Business Administration, and Design departments reflect the average score of the top three subjects among Mathematics, Korean, English, and Inquiry. Korean History is mandatory for all departments but is not included in the CSAT score calculation. Applicants must take all CSAT subjects required by their department, and failure to take any required subject will result in a score of zero.

Selection is based on the order of total evaluation scores by department, and if applicants apply to Groups A, B, and C simultaneously and are accepted to more than one, they must register for only one department. Additional admissions will be made based on the waiting list ranking by score within each recruitment group.

Multiple applications are prohibited between universities with the same recruitment group (including colleges of education) and between departments within the same university that belong to the same recruitment group. However, the 'Specialized High School Graduate Working Adult Admission' is exempt from this restriction as it does not distinguish recruitment periods.

If there are unfilled spots after early admission registration for the adult learner night program, these will be filled through Group B’s 'Lifelong Learning Society Admission' and 'Specialized High School Graduate Working Adult Admission'.

If it is confirmed that an applicant does not meet the eligibility criteria, admission will be canceled even after acceptance or enrollment. For the general admission, eligibility includes graduates of domestic or foreign high schools (including those expected to graduate by February 2025), GED holders, and those recognized as having equivalent or higher academic ability. The Rural Student Admission requires completion of the entire curriculum at a high school located in an island or remote area. The Specialized High School Graduate Admission requires meeting one of the criteria such as completing the same major designated by the university for each recruitment unit, or attending a high school operating a curriculum similar to that of a specialized high school.

Tuition fees for this year were ▲College of Engineering, College of Information Technology, College of Construction and Environmental Design: 2,329,400 KRW ▲College of Humanities and Social Sciences: 1,971,180 KRW ▲College of Business Administration: 1,863,270 KRW. Tuition for the 2025 academic year may vary depending on the final determination.
