Asiana Airlines will supply 9,000 mileage seats on the Gimpo~Jeju route in the new year.
On the 23rd, Asiana Airlines announced that it will conduct the 3rd phase of the 'Jeju Happy Mileage Week' promotion starting from 9 a.m. that day. Through this promotion, mileage seats will be supplied on a total of 84 flights from June 6 to 19 next year.
The 3rd phase promotion flights are the same as the 2nd phase promotion: Gimpo→Jeju (3 flights) and Jeju→Gimpo (3 flights). There are 6 flights daily, totaling 84 flights. The target flights include preferred time slots with usually high reservation rates, with 3 flights allocated each in the morning and afternoon. The aircraft used is the A321, configured with 174 seats (business and economy) and 195 seats (economy).
All remaining seats on these flights, including business class, can be purchased with mileage, and currently, about 9,000 seats remain available.
For domestic mileage tickets, 5,000 miles are deducted for one-way economy class and 6,000 miles for business class. The promotion flights also allow paid ticketing, so mileage tickets and paid tickets can be issued according to preference.
The 'Jeju Happy Mileage Week' promotion has been held three times including this one. Through this promotion, Asiana Airlines supplied up to 24,000 mileage tickets. Both the 1st and 2nd phase promotions recorded high reservation rates averaging 98%.
An Asiana Airlines official said, "In the new year, we will put more attention and effort into enabling our members to use their mileage conveniently."
