Broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk indirectly referred to the chaotic situation following the December 3 emergency martial law incident.

At the end of the ceremony, Yoo Jae-suk said, "As you all know, the current situation is one where we cannot see even an inch ahead; it is truly a frustrating time," indirectly referring to the ongoing impeachment crisis. He added, "The New Year is just around the corner. I believe the fog surrounding us will clear, and the day will come when we regain our peaceful daily lives."
Earlier, due to the aftermath of President Yoon Seok-youl's declaration of emergency martial law, the release of 'Punghyanggo,' originally scheduled for the 8th, was postponed by a week. Additionally, various dramas and entertainment programs were consecutively suspended.
Besides Yoo Jae-suk, some celebrities have also directly or indirectly mentioned the emergency martial law situation and the impeachment political climate. At the SBS 'Drama Awards' held on the 21st, Kim Young-ok, who received a Lifetime Achievement Award, said, "It is a somewhat foggy year-end," and wished, "I hope that next year will be a good, beautiful, and happy year for all viewers and juniors."
Ji Seung-hyun, who won the Supporting Actor Award for the drama 'Good Partner,' said, "Although the country is unsettled, I hope everyone spends a happy year-end with their own 'Good Partner.'” After receiving the Grand Prize for the drama 'Hot Blood Priest 2,' Kim Nam-gil stated, "This is a time when ordinary daily lives are cherished. I hope that next year, seniors, juniors, colleagues, and viewers here will feel more happiness in their ordinary daily lives."
