The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Northern Early Childhood Experience Education Center (Director Jeong Jaeyoung) announced on the 22nd that it operated the 'Saturday Family Experience' program for multicultural families in the province on the 21st.

This program was prepared to help multicultural families experience traditional Korean culture, understand each other, and strengthen family bonds.


The program consisted of traditional Korean games that family members can enjoy together, such as Yutnori, Jegichagi, archery, Jige play, and Tuho play.


In addition, time was provided for children to actively play with their families and exercise their imagination at various indoor and outdoor play facilities.


Jeong Jaeyoung, director of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Northern Early Childhood Experience Education Center, said, “Through this experience program, we hope multicultural families naturally encounter Korean culture and have an opportunity to strengthen communication and bonds within the family. We will continue to expand various programs where all families, including multicultural families, can communicate and enjoy together.”
