Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the '2024 Mapo District Disabled Athletes and Meritorious Persons Encouragement Ceremony' held on the morning of December 20th in the large conference room of Mapo District Office.
Hosted and organized by the Mapo District Disabled Sports Association, this event was prepared to boost the morale of athletes who won awards at various disabled sports competitions and student sports competitions, and to encourage meritorious persons who contributed to the development of community sports.
At the site, about 50 people, including Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District and President of the Mapo District Disabled Sports Association, Seo Hae-seok, Senior Vice President, other executives, outstanding athletes, and guardians, gathered together.
On this day, Mayor Park Gang-su awarded commendations and plaques of appreciation to outstanding athletes and sports meritorious persons who made great achievements in their respective fields.
Mayor Park said, "Your challenges and achievements are an inspiring drama overcoming countless adversities," and added, "Mapo District will continue to do its best for the healthy lives of people with disabilities."
