Chuncheon City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Mayor Yuk Dong-han) announced on the 20th that it was selected as an outstanding local government at the Shinhan Bank 'Ttaenggyeoyo' public-private partnership delivery app activation awards held at the Samsung Main Building in Jung-gu, Seoul.

This award was based on the increase in sales after the agreement, and five local governments including Chuncheon City, Gwangju Metropolitan City, and Jeollanam-do were selected. Chuncheon City is the only basic local government among them.
The Chuncheon City delivery app 'Ttaenggyeoyo' recorded a sales increase of about 1840%, from a monthly sales level of 37 million KRW before the agreement to over 700 million KRW as of November this year. This has been evaluated as greatly contributing to reducing delivery fees for small business owners and revitalizing the local economy.
Chuncheon City has conducted continuous promotional activities together with Shinhan Bank, and the number of affiliated stores and users rapidly increased due to the active participation of local small business owners. Consumers also participated in good consumption to help small business owners, achieving meaningful results. Chuncheon City plans to secure the 2025 budget and provide delivery coupons and discount coupons starting from January 3 next year.
Yuk Jeong-mi, head of the Economic Policy Division of Chuncheon City, said, “The use of public-private partnership apps is an important starting point for revitalizing the local economy and coexistence,” and added, “We ask for many uses so that it can be of practical help to small business owners.”
Chuncheon City plans to continue seeking various measures to support small business owners along with the activation of delivery apps.
