On this day, about 60 housewives' administrative monitors participated, sharing the 2024 operation status of the Goyang City Housewives' Administrative Monitor, key case studies, and awarding certificates of commendation to outstanding monitors.
As the term of the 11th group ends in April next year, time was taken to reflect on the activities throughout the year and share impressions.
The 11th Goyang City Housewives' Administrative Monitor has been the most active among all previous groups, presenting over 3,000 opinions this year through voluntary monitoring of daily inconveniences and system improvement matters, as well as carrying out designated tasks assigned by the city.
Opinions submitted through the Housewives' Administrative Monitor bulletin board on the Goyang City Hall website are distributed to the relevant departments (including related agencies) by the responsible department, which reviews and processes them and then notifies the results.
In 2025, the Housewives' Administrative Monitor will be renamed the ‘Administrative Monitor’ and is preparing for a new start. Recruitment for the 12th group is scheduled for March 2025, and detailed information can be found on the Goyang City Hall website during the recruitment period.
Lee Dong-hwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, said, “The Housewives' Administrative Monitor quickly identifies and conveys small inconveniences or areas for improvement that citizens feel on site to the city. We will strive to reflect the valuable opinions delivered with meticulous perspectives and warm interest so that Goyang Special City can become an even better place to live.”
