From business to hobbies and travel, covering almost all daily tasks, the book AI Life, Every Moment Changes (Humanities Space) has been published, providing concrete ways to transform daily life with the help of the 'God of Knowledge' AI.
This book presents AI usage methods that anyone can easily apply. As indicated by the subtitle, Kim Kyung-jin's AI Life Recipe Book, it selects cases where AI can assist with foreign language translation, academic papers, writing, resume creation, and solving math problems, like recipes. It is filled with practical, everyday examples so that even those without any background knowledge can easily approach AI. In short, it is a practical guide on how to enjoy daily life more conveniently with AI, an essential tool in the smart era.
The author, Kim Kyung-jin, who is also active as a political panelist on various broadcasts, is a former member of the National Assembly who spearheaded the proposal of the 'Artificial Intelligence Act.' Nowadays, he calls himself a 'pioneer of AI utilization.' After losing in the April parliamentary election this year, he discovered the amazing capabilities of AI during a backpacking trip abroad to clear his troubled mind. From the moment he used the generative AI chatbot app 'ChatGPT' that suddenly came to mind during his travels, a completely different dimension of travel unfolded before him. Through AI, he was able to decode all information about the history, geography, and culture of the countries he visited. He vividly depicted in the book his experiences overcoming language barriers with AI and deeply understanding local culture and history while traveling in places like Varanasi, India, and V?c, Hungary.
He says, "The future with AI is full of infinite possibilities. AI can be a great friend that helps us think more deeply and make wiser decisions." He emphasizes, "Generative AI like ChatGPT is like having over 2,300 Seoul National University professors as your information secretaries," and adds, "AI can be a reliable assistant providing information and advice to help us develop problem-solving skills and creativity."
The book is divided into four parts. Part 1 covers the history and development of AI; Parts 2 and 3 focus on AI usage in document creation and business fields; Part 4 deals with practical AI applications in daily life. The epilogue analyzes AI-related laws and regulations. It compares and analyzes the European Union (EU) AI Act, legislative trends in the United States, and the current status of AI legislation in Korea to help readers understand the legal environment of the AI era. This is a must-read book for anyone considering how to utilize AI in everyday life.
