Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 20th that Kolon Global Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jung-il), the entrusted operator of the sports center located in Paju City, donated 25 million KRW for the development of sports on the 19th.

At the donation ceremony, Song Seung-hoe, head of Kolon Global Co., Ltd., attended, and Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City said, “We appreciate the annual donation for sports development from 2008 to this year, and we will ensure that the funds are used fairly and effectively for the development of sports and nurturing young talents in Paju City.”
Kolon Sporex is currently entrusted with the operation of six sports centers in the area, including Unjeong Sports Center and Unjeong Multipurpose Gymnasium, and stated that they will do their best in facility safety management and operating various programs so that more citizens can use the sports centers safely and healthily.
Kolon Sporex has supported manpower such as volunteers and referees at the Hanmaeum Sports Festival (2023) and the Gyeonggi Provincial Sports Festival (2024), and has been actively engaged in social contribution activities such as sharing kimchi for love and the Sarangae (愛) briquette sharing event.
