[2025 Regular Admission Special] Kyung Hee University to Select 45% of Total Enrollment through Regular Admission... Expansion of College of Liberal Studies

New Non-Major Admissions Established at International Campus

Kyung Hee University will select 2,422 students, accounting for 45.6% of the total recruitment, in the regular admission for the 2025 academic year.


By admission type, 2,197 students will be selected through the CSAT-based admission, and 225 through the practical skills-based admission. The number of recruits for the CSAT-based admission increased by 15 compared to last year. Applications will be accepted for four days from 10 a.m. on the 31st of this month until 6 p.m. on January 3rd of next year.


Kyung Hee University has newly established and expanded the undeclared major recruitment unit, which was previously selected as the Interdisciplinary Major at the Seoul Campus, as the Liberal Arts Major at the International Campus, and will select students in the regular admission Group A. The CSAT reflection ratio for the Interdisciplinary Major applies the social sciences ratio, and the Liberal Arts Major applies the natural sciences ratio. However, the Liberal Arts Major at the International Campus does not provide additional points for science inquiry test takers.

The Department of Information Display in the College of Science has changed its recruitment unit name to the Department of Future Information Display following approval as an advanced department and will select 36 students. The Department of Oriental Medicine Biotechnology and the Department of Plant and Environmental New Materials Engineering have been integrated and renamed as the Department of Convergence Bio and New Materials Engineering in the College of Life Sciences. The Department of Information Electronics New Materials Engineering has been renamed as the Department of New Materials Engineering.


Kyung Hee University divides recruitment units into humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and arts & physical education categories for this regular admission. The designated subjects that were mandatory for all categories have been abolished, and the CSAT subject reflection ratios by category have also been changed. The reflection ratio for the humanities category is Korean 35%, Mathematics 20%, English 15%, and Inquiry (Social Sciences & Science) 30%. For the social sciences category, it is Korean 30%, Mathematics 30%, English 15%, and Inquiry (Social Sciences & Science) 25%. For the natural sciences category, it is Korean 20%, Mathematics 35%, English 15%, and Inquiry (Social Sciences & Science) 30%. For the arts & physical education category, it is Korean 50%, English 20%, and one Inquiry subject 30%. The Department of Korean Medicine (humanities) is selected under the humanities category, and the Department of Geography (humanities) under the social sciences category. The Departments of Architecture and Nursing recruit from the natural sciences category without category distinction.


For each CSAT subject area, Korean and Mathematics use standard scores, while English and Korean History use Kyung Hee University's grade-based converted scores. The Inquiry area uses internally calculated percentile-converted standard scores. The percentile-converted standard scores for the Inquiry area can be checked on the admissions office website after individual CSAT results are announced. Among applicants to humanities recruitment units, those who took social inquiry subjects receive an additional 4 points per subject, and among applicants to natural sciences recruitment units, those who took science inquiry subjects receive an additional 4 points per subject.


Kyung Hee University publishes regular admission statistical data for the past three years on the admissions office website and the University Admission Information Portal. You can check the competition rates and fill rates for the 2022?2024 academic years, the cutoff percentile scores for the top 70% of final registrants, and the average percentile scores by CSAT subject for the top 80%. Following the introduction of the integrated CSAT for humanities and sciences, detailed information on the selection rates by mathematics elective subjects and inquiry elective subjects among final registrants has been disclosed.
