S-Oil Selected as DJSI World Company for 15 Consecutive Years

S-OIL announced on the 20th that it has been selected as a DJSI World company in the 2024 Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) evaluation.

S-OIL has been listed on the DJSI World for 15 consecutive years since 2010, making it the first and only Asian refinery to achieve this.

The DJSI is a globally recognized sustainability index evaluated annually by S&P Global, assessing companies worldwide. It comprehensively considers the economic, social, environmental, and governance (ESG) performance of global companies as a standard for evaluating corporate sustainability and is widely utilized.

S-OIL is expanding sustainable management by establishing long-term roadmaps for each ESG sector, deriving key tasks, and systematically promoting them. Since 2021, it has operated an ESG Promotion Committee composed of top management and executives to deliberate and review core ESG management tasks. Starting last year, it has expanded ESG management by establishing an ESG Committee under the Board of Directors.

S-OIL stated, "As a company-wide initiative, we will successfully carry out promotion tasks by each sector and organization to achieve ESG management goals and further strengthen sustainable management."
