KOSPI and KOSDAQ are weakening, falling more than 1% due to selling by foreigners and institutions.

As of 9:35 a.m. on the 20th, KOSPI recorded 2,410.51, down 1.04% from the previous trading day.


By investor type, individuals are net buyers with 367.3 billion KRW. On the other hand, foreigners and institutions are net sellers with 240 billion KRW and 135.5 billion KRW, respectively.


By sector, pharmaceuticals, medical & precision, and metals are down more than 2%. In addition, electricity & electronics, entertainment & culture, insurance, and manufacturing sectors fell more than 1%. Most sectors, except transportation & warehousing and non-metal, are declining.


Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics is trading at 52,300 KRW, down 800 KRW (1.51%) from the previous trading day. SK Hynix also fell 3.26%. Samsung Biologics dropped 3.76%. Except for HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, which rose 3.14%, most of the top market capitalization stocks are declining.


KOSDAQ recorded 676.55, down 1.14%.


By investor type, individuals are net buyers with 108.1 billion KRW. Conversely, foreigners and institutions are net sellers with 64.9 billion KRW and 40.1 billion KRW, respectively.


By sector, textiles & apparel fell 2.79%. In addition, machinery & equipment, metals, distribution, manufacturing, and chemicals declined more than 1%. Most sectors, except publishing & media and transportation & warehousing, are falling.


Among the top market capitalization stocks, Alteogen traded at 284,500 KRW, down 2,000 KRW (0.70%) from the previous trading day. Meanwhile, Rigachem Bio fell 2.28%. Other stocks such as HLB, Rino Industries, and Celltrion Pharm are also down more than 1%.
