Guro-gu Holds 2024 Q4 Regular Staff Assembly on the 19th: Awards for Outstanding Departments, Retirement Commendations, Guidance, Staff Training... Special Lecture by Park Yong-hoo, PYH CEO, "Design Your Perspective"
On the 19th, Guro-gu held the ‘2024 4th Quarter Regular Staff Assembly’ at the Guro-gu Residents’ Hall Auditorium.
The district stated that by holding regular assemblies for staff, it aims to share the current status of district administration with employees and create an organizational atmosphere that fosters smooth communication among staff.
The event proceeded in the order of awarding outstanding departments, presenting plaques of appreciation to retirees, a speech by Acting Mayor Eom Euishik of Guro-gu, and staff training. Employees from Guro-gu Office as well as from the Facilities Management Corporation, Cultural Foundation, and Hope Welfare Foundation participated together.
Acting Mayor Eom Euishik, who attended the event, presented awards to 15 outstanding departments and expressed gratitude to the departments and employees who contributed to the development of district administration and the improvement of residents’ quality of life throughout the year.
Additionally, plaques of appreciation were presented to seven employees about to retire, with Acting Mayor Eom saying, “Thank you for your passion and dedication in public service,” and “I wish happiness and fulfillment accompany you on your future journey.”
Following this, CEO Park Yonghu of PYH gave a lecture titled ‘Design Your Perspective’ during the staff training. Emphasizing the importance of a communicative and harmonious organizational culture, he discussed topics such as the power to see the same thing differently and ways to change one’s thinking, gaining empathy from the employees.
Acting Mayor Eom Euishik said, “I hope this regular assembly will be a meaningful time to share the direction of district administration and serve as an opportunity for communication and cooperation among staff,” adding, “I expect that through this training, employees will grow further and a positive organizational culture will spread within the organization.”
