According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 19th, sub-zero temperatures were recorded from the morning, and temperatures dropped significantly throughout the afternoon.
In most areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam, less than 5mm of rain or 1 to 5cm of snow is expected on the 20th, with precipitation forecasted to stop by the afternoon of the following day.
The morning's lowest temperatures are expected to be -3 degrees Celsius in Naju, Damyang, Yeonggwang, Yeongam, Haenam, and Hwasun; -2 degrees in Gwangju and Muan; -1 degree in Suncheon; 0 degrees in Gwangyang; and 1 degree in Mokpo. The highest daytime temperatures will be 10 degrees in Gwangyang, Suncheon, and Wando; 9 degrees in Haenam; 8 degrees in Gwangju, Naju, Mokpo, Muan, Yeongam, and Hwasun; and 7 degrees in Damyang and Yeonggwang, showing a higher range than the previous day.
Waves in the sea will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the southern and western coastal waters. Fine dust concentrations in Gwangju and Jeonnam will remain at a 'moderate' level until the morning and improve to a 'good' level in the afternoon.

An official from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration said, "In areas where rain or snow falls, visibility will be reduced, and as snow accumulates, icy roads and black ice may occur, so please pay attention to traffic safety."
