Gwangju Urban Corporation held the 'VISION 2030' Future Vision Proclamation Ceremony on the 19th at the Bitgoeul Customer Center main conference room in Seo-gu.

Kim Seungnam, President of Gwangju Urban Corporation, announced the corporation's new mission, vision, and future strategic framework in front of about 200 executives and employees. The strategic framework was established by reflecting the opinions of citizens and employees, as well as the management philosophy of the new CEO, in order to respond to internal and external management environments such as national and municipal policy directions and social changes.

The corporation declared its new mission as "Creating sustainable urban spaces that enhance future value" and its vision as "A public enterprise that creates a future city where people want to stay and be together." It also set four core values: "Citizen Satisfaction, Communication and Cooperation, Innovative Growth, and Transparency and Fairness," expressing its commitment to developing a future city for regional development and citizen happiness.

Additionally, the corporation presented four strategic directions: △Creating growth engines for Gwangju's development △Leading inclusive residential welfare △Advancing management and operation for citizen satisfaction △Enhancing management efficiency through innovation, pledging to contribute to the creation of a sustainable city in Gwangju.

President Kim said, "The corporation's 2030 future vision is even more meaningful because it was created by gathering the opinions of citizens and employees," and added, "The corporation will take the lead in the development of a sustainable future city, Gwangju, amid rapidly changing social environments."
