Yeoncheon-gun has set the lives and safety of workers as the highest priority and established six management policies to create a safe and healthy environment with the goal of 'Zero Major Accidents' for a safe future for all of us.
The detailed management policies include △ Establishing a safety culture through compliance with relevant laws and regulations △ Building a safety and health management system △ Systematic safety and health education and training △ Risk assessment to prevent incidents and accidents △ Strengthening win-win cooperation in subcontracting, outsourcing, and consignment relationships △ Enhancing communication with workers.
Kim Deok-hyun, the mayor of Yeoncheon-gun, stated, “We will prioritize protecting the lives and safety of residents and workers, make every effort to prevent industrial accidents and establish a safety and health system, and do our best to ensure that a safety and health culture takes root in all workplaces.”
