Dongbanwi-Starbucks, Free Win-Win Beverages Provided to Small Business Cafes

Starting from the 19th, 'Haenam Jjin Goguma Latte' Sold at 150 Small Business Cafes Nationwide

The Win-Win Growth Committee, together with Starbucks Korea and the National Cafe Owners Cooperative, delivered the 2024 winter season win-win beverage, 'Haenam Steamed Sweet Potato Latte,' to 150 small business cafes nationwide on the 18th.


The free distribution project of win-win beverages to small business owners is part of a win-win cooperation initiative under the win-win agreement signed in March 2022 by the Win-Win Committee, Starbucks, and the Cafe Cooperative. Starbucks' beverage team develops new seasonal drinks and supplies them free of charge to small business cafes. This is the sixth time the project has been carried out.

This winter season's win-win beverage, 'Haenam Steamed Sweet Potato Latte,' was developed using purple sweet potatoes from Haenam, combining the mildness of sweet potatoes with the rich flavor of milk to deliver a deep aroma and taste of sweet potato. It can only be tasted at the 150 small business cafes selected through an open recruitment process.


Starbucks supplies 400 servings of the win-win beverage per participating cafe, and starting from the 19th, it will be sold exclusively at the 150 small business cafes nationwide. The names and locations of the cafes where the beverage can be purchased can be checked through the Win-Win Committee's KakaoTalk channel.


Park Chi-hyung, Director of Operations at the Win-Win Committee, said, "The previous win-win beverage was so popular that it sold out early, showing growing consumer interest in win-win beverages. Small business cafes are facing great difficulties due to rising costs and economic downturns, so we hope Starbucks' win-win activities will be a great help to these small business cafes."
