Department of Visual Design at Dongmyeong University, Two Receive Excellence Awards at Busan Art Exhibition

Excellence Award for 2 Consecutive Years... Passion and Achievements in Task Missions

The Department of Visual Design at Dongmyung University achieved consecutive years of excellence by winning the Excellence Award and Special Selection at the Busan Art Exhibition.

Kim Song-eun (4th year) and Yang Da-hye (4th year) from the Visual Design Department each received the Excellence Award in the design category at the 50th Busan Art Exhibition in 2024. In addition, students from the department won Special Selection (2 students) and Honorable Mention (8 students), resulting in an impressive achievement where 12 out of the total 32 awardees in the design category were from this department.

Kim Song-eun and Yang Da-hye jointly stated, “This success is thanks to our major professors who passionately communicated to enhance our understanding of assignment missions and provided detailed, close feedback.”

Jung Won-jun, head of the Visual Design Department, said, “Previously, in the 2023 Busan Art Exhibition, student Noh Young-seo received the Excellence Award. I am proud and grateful to my students who have created this consecutive success.”
