This event was organized to review the results of the urban regeneration projects carried out throughout the year, with about 60 residents, including the urban regeneration residents' council, attending to share excellent cases and achievements of resident-led urban regeneration projects.

In particular, at this event, meritorious persons who contributed to regional revitalization through urban regeneration projects were commended to emphasize the importance of resident participation and cooperation. The residents' council members themselves took the stage as presenters to share cases and experiences from each area, enhancing the value of the urban regeneration projects.

First, Geumgok-dong shared the status of various programs promoted to revitalize commercial districts and announced achievements such as increased visitor inflow and sales growth in shopping areas.

Hwado-eup shared resident participation projects aimed at solving local issues, such as resident contest projects and the Maseok Maetdolmoru Festival. In particular, 11 resident organizations promoted projects under the resident contest, showcasing successful urban regeneration cases.

Next, Toegyewon-eup, which established a foundation for an urban regeneration community earlier this year, shared the results of resident capacity-building projects such as human care and job creation programs and home repair education.

Through this performance sharing meeting, Namyangju City plans to share the achievements of urban regeneration projects with citizens and enhance the vitality of the local community by promoting more advanced projects next year.

Meanwhile, Namyangju City is promoting urban regeneration projects in three areas to improve living conditions for residents of the old downtown and achieve balanced regional development: △ Geumgok-dong (2017 Urban Regeneration New Deal Project - Central City Type) △ Hwado-eup (2019 Urban Regeneration New Deal Project - Central City Type) △ Toegyewon-eup (2021 Urban Vulnerable Area Living Environment Improvement Project).
