The Korea Exchange announced on the 18th that it held a briefing session for disclosure officers of KOSDAQ-listed companies to enhance corporate value.
The briefing session was organized to support disclosure participation for disclosure officers of small- and medium-sized KOSDAQ-listed companies, whose corporate scale and disclosure organizations are relatively small and thus have lower participation in value-up programs.
The session was conducted with the Korea Exchange explaining value-up disclosure cases of KOSDAQ companies, and Samjong KPMG, a one-on-one value-up consulting agency for small listed companies, introducing value-up consulting cases. A total of about 190 practitioners, including disclosure officers of KOSDAQ companies (approximately 170 companies), attended.
A Korea Exchange official stated, "We hope the atmosphere of value-up participation will spread to the KOSDAQ market, and that this briefing session will serve as practical reference for small listed companies preparing value-up disclosures. Going forward, the Exchange plans to continuously support the value-up of listed companies through various educational programs reflecting corporate needs."
