Guri City Commercial Area Revitalization Foundation Hosts Networking for 'Commercial Area Revitalization Agency Council Launch'

Official Launch of the Council of 7 Commercial Area Revitalization Organizations in Gyeonggi-do
Strengthening Cooperation for Regional Economic Revitalization

The Guri City Commercial Area Revitalization Foundation in Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Baek Kyung-hyun, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Foundation’) announced on the 18th that it held the official launch networking event for the ‘Gyeonggi-do Commercial Area Revitalization Institutions Council’ to revitalize the local economy on the 17th in the multipurpose room on the basement first floor of the Foundation.

On this day, a total of seven institutions participated in the council, including the Guri City Commercial Area Revitalization Foundation, Seongnam City Commercial Area Revitalization Foundation, Uijeongbu City Commercial Area Revitalization Foundation, Ansan City Commercial Area Revitalization Foundation, Anyang City Commercial Area Revitalization Foundation, Bucheon City Commercial Area Revitalization Center, and Suwon Urban Foundation. They discussed ▲ presenting the council’s vision ▲ regularizing council meetings ▲ and the direction of the council for 2025.


The council plans to establish a system that breaks down barriers between institutions and enables organic cooperation through regular meetings, thereby building a win-win model to strengthen the capabilities of small business owners in Gyeonggi-do and enhance the vitality of local commercial areas.


Chairman Baek Kyung-hyun stated, “With the launch of the council, we expect that commercial area revitalization policies will be promoted more systematically and effectively,” and added, “We will do our best to consolidate the expertise and networks held by the institutions to prepare practical measures for commercial area revitalization.”
