This performance sharing meeting was organized to review the major achievements of the ‘SangsangN Playground Play Expedition Team,’ which operated from April to November, and to explore new directions for the future.

The ‘Play Expedition Team’ operated a total of about 90 programs combining participatory experience programs and performances based on five SangsangN Playgrounds established by Namyangju City. A total of 635 infants and toddlers participated, experiencing creative and new ways of play.

At the performance sharing meeting, senior students majoring in Early Childhood Education from Kyungbok University, who are prospective childcare experts, shared the design and operation process of play activities through presentations of play program cases. This emphasized the importance of cooperation between the local community and educational institutions and presented practical cooperation models.

In addition, the city produced an activity book recording the play plans and operation results and shared it with related organizations to strengthen the cooperation base and lay the foundation for sustainable operation of play programs in the future.

A Namyangju City official said, “We will continue to develop creative and fun play content to make SangsangN Playground a more attractive space,” and added, “We will continuously strive to foster a healthy and enjoyable play culture for infants and toddlers.”

Meanwhile, information on programs for infants and toddlers can be found on the SangsangN Playground blog, and inquiries about the Play Expedition Team programs can be made to the Namyangju City Childcare Policy Division.
