Kakao Conducts Copyright Education for Emoticon Creators

Kakao announced on the 18th that it will conduct online copyright education for emoticon creators and prospective creators.

This education is the third online copyright training following those in 2020 and 2022. It can be viewed on the KakaoTV 'Kakao Emoticon' channel at 5 PM on the 19th.

This year's online emoticon copyright education will be conducted under the theme of Practical Law for Emoticon Copyright. The curriculum includes requirements for copyright recognition, conditions for copyright infringement, and case law related to emoticon copyright, providing various copyright education related to emoticon creation.

Additionally, a Q&A session will be held to address frequently asked questions related to emoticon copyright.

During the KakaoTV live broadcast, real-time Q&A will also be conducted by answering questions left in the chat window. All participants in the online education will receive a '1-month free subscription to Emoticon Plus.'
