Miryang-si and Yonhap News TV Sign Business Agreement to Promote Community Sports Activities

On the 17th, Miryang City in Gyeongnam signed a business agreement with Yonhap News TV to promote the activation of community sports.

The agreement, held at the Yonhap News TV headquarters in Jongno-gu, Seoul, was aimed at expanding the base of community sports and revitalizing the local economy through cooperation between the two organizations. Mayor An Byung-gu and CEO Ahn Soo-hoon of Yonhap News TV attended the event to reaffirm their commitment to collaboration.

According to the agreement, Miryang City will be responsible for all aspects related to the operation of community sports competitions, while Yonhap News TV will take charge of promoting the events. This partnership is regarded as an effective cooperation model to respond to the era of regional extinction by revitalizing the local economy and community sports.

CEO Ahn Soo-hoon stated, “We will do our best to contribute to regional development and overcoming regional extinction through joint efforts to activate community sports.”
