"Community Coexistence is the Top Priority Value for Companies"
Hanwha Aerospace, one of the top four defense industry companies in Korea, received the Changwon Mayor's Commendation in the Excellent Company category at the 2024 Changwon Volunteer Competition in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.
This year, Hanwha Aerospace signed an agreement with Changwon City to promote volunteer activities and carried out projects such as supporting multifunctional rest areas on bus central lanes and cleaning activities for drainage pipes.

A representative from the Changwon plant stated, “Coexistence with the local community is the company's top priority,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to contribute to the local community through steady social contribution activities.”
Hanwha Aerospace plans to continue the drainage pipe cleaning activities, which have involved employees from Changwon Plants 1, 2, and 3 since last year, to prepare for heavy rains and protect the marine environment next year as well.
