Hosted by the Pocheon City Family Women and Women Policy Team, the meeting was attended by job-related departments, relevant experts, and the Women-Friendly City Citizen Participation Group to discuss integrated support measures for creating women's jobs and expanding participation in economic activities.
The main discussion topics included ▲promotion of the Pocheon City Women-Friendly Company Certification System and provision of incentive benefits ▲discovery of region-specific jobs ▲promotion of the Gyeonggi-do Dad Parental Leave System ▲activation plans for women's job creation projects.
In particular, the Pocheon-type Women-Friendly Company designation scorecard, scheduled for public announcement in January 2025, added a bonus point item for the CEO's commitment to creating a gender-equal workplace environment.
Additionally, new measures such as interest support projects as incentives for women-friendly companies were discussed, and various support measures will be prepared through interdepartmental cooperation.
A Pocheon City official said, “We will strengthen cooperation with related organizations to ensure that the various opinions and measures presented at the meeting lead to practical benefits for local women,” and added, “We will spare no continuous interest and support to ensure that policies helping women's economic independence are effective.”
