[Featured Stock] Georit Energy Rises on Recruitment of Choi Woong-gi, Former Gyeonggi Provincial Government Broadcast Spokesperson and Lee Jae-myung's 'Inner Circle' Member

On this day, Georit Energy announced that it plans to recruit Choi Woong-gi, former Gyeonggi Provincial Government broadcasting special advisor, as Senior Vice President of Media Strategy to strengthen its external public relations functions such as media relations.

Senior Vice President candidate Choi graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in English Literature and joined SBS, where he worked for many years as a political, economic, and social desk reporter. From around 2010, he served as the SBS Seongnam bureau chief for about 10 years in Seongnam, where the Aprogen headquarters is located, informing the public about Seongnam city administration.

Afterwards, he worked as a broadcasting special advisor at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government from 2018, and in 2022, he also served as a broadcasting special advisor for the Democratic Party of Korea’s 20th presidential election campaign headquarters. Senior Vice President candidate Choi Woong-gi will concurrently serve as Senior Vice President of Media Strategy at Aprogen’s Financial Investment Planning Headquarters located in Yeouido, taking charge of media and external public relations for the entire Aprogen Group.

Senior Vice President candidate Choi has been known as part of the Seongnam line ‘inner circle’ since Lee Jae-myung’s tenure as governor of Gyeonggi Province.
