Selected for the 'Integrated Health Management for Burnout Urban Workers' Project
Providing Combined Metabolic Syndrome Management and Mental Health Services
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) announced that the district's project, "Integrated Health Management for Burnout Urban Office Workers," was selected as an excellent project at the "2024 Seoul Metropolitan Government Metabolic Syndrome Management Project Performance Competition."
This marks the second consecutive year of selection, following last year's recognition for the "Dobong-gu Special, Bonggu Series." The Bonggu Series consists of two projects: "Bongguya, Let's Exercise!" aimed at health management for the 40s and 60s age group, and "Bonggune, Health Keeper" for vulnerable groups such as outdoor workers.
Hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and organized by the Seoul Metabolic Syndrome Management Project Support Group, this performance competition was held to share the achievements and best practices of the 2024 metabolic syndrome management projects.
On the day, the district presented the "Integrated Health Management for Burnout Urban Office Workers" project, sharing the current status and outcomes of the project.
This project provides metabolic syndrome management services and mental health services together, targeting urban office workers.
The project is broadly divided into ▲ Visiting Health Counseling Room ▲ Office Worker Obesity Escape PT ▲ Muscle Strengthening Program for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders ▲ Sodium Reduction Taste Test ▲ Operation of the Mental Health Assurance Bus for Urban Office Workers.
Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, "To enhance the effectiveness of this year's project, we made great efforts to analyze the characteristics of workplace tasks and reflect them in the project. I am pleased that this recognition as an excellent project has been received. We will continue to do our best in promoting projects for the health management of our residents."
