Lightweighting and Output Enhancement
Porsche is launching the high-performance Turbo GT line of its pure electric sports sedan Taycan in the domestic market.
On the 17th, Porsche Korea announced the official domestic launch of the Taycan Turbo GT.
As a high-performance trim of the existing Taycan, the overall output has been improved. The Taycan Turbo GT is equipped with a more powerful pulse inverter, delivering a system output of 580 kW. With launch control, it can achieve a maximum output of 1,034 horsepower (PS). The time to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h is 2.3 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the Taycan Turbo S. The maximum torque is 126.4 kgf·m, and the driving range is 419 km (combined). It also offers an 'Attack Mode' that, when activated by pressing a button, provides an additional maximum output of 120 kW for 10 seconds.
The Taycan Turbo GT reduces weight by increasing the use of carbon fiber compared to the Taycan Turbo S. The Dynamic Package is applied as standard. Along with GT-exclusive settings, the Porsche Active Ride (PAR) suspension appropriately distributes wheel load even in dynamic driving situations. Additionally, the Dynamic Package includes 21-inch lightweight forged wheels equipped with special performance summer tires. The exclusive Turbo GT wheels feature relief-milled spokes to reduce weight and maximize brake cooling efficiency.
For the exterior, a total of six colors are available, including new 'Pale Blue Metallic' and 'Purple Sky Metallic.' Exclusively for the Turbo GT, the front hood and the hub covers of the lightweight alloy wheels feature a colored Porsche Crest. The 'Turbo GT' logo on the rear of the vehicle is finished in matte black.
The domestic sales price of the new Taycan Turbo GT is 296.1 million KRW, including VAT.
