At the meeting, the city decided to devote all efforts to alleviating citizens' anxiety, revitalizing the local economy, and promptly supporting the recovery from snow damage.

Mayor Kim emphasized, "Citizens' anxiety and economic uncertainty are intensifying amid national turmoil. At times like this, we must carry out proactive administration for the citizens and prepare support policies that can provide practical help."

Mayor Kim added, "For those affected by the heavy snowfall, a swift declaration of a special disaster area and rapid support must be implemented. While carefully checking places where damage reports may have been missed, public officials must do their utmost to stabilize people's livelihoods by performing their duties without any setbacks."

The city plans to promptly provide sector-specific support funds such as emergency living expenses and special disaster relief funds targeted at small business owners and affected farmers. Additionally, through discussions by each department, the city will strengthen the snow damage recovery plan and provide detailed explanations about local disaster recovery measures to eup, myeon, and dong heads.

The city also plans to thoroughly prepare for winter heavy snow and cold waves, continuing health support and welfare checks to ensure vulnerable groups in the jurisdiction do not face difficulties.

In particular, centered on the Livelihood Stabilization Task Force, which has been operating since the 9th, the city will establish comprehensive measures, expand incentives for local currency, build an administrative system for the swift promotion of local development projects, and discover ideas to revitalize the local economy, making every effort toward daily life recovery and livelihood stabilization.

On the same day, as part of year-end efforts to revitalize the local economy, the city held a 'Traditional Market Shopping' event visiting Anseong Jungang Market and Anseong Matchum Market, and also held a plaque ceremony for good price stores within the markets.

Mayor Kim stated, "Anseong is experiencing an unprecedented crisis due to the impeachment political situation and large-scale heavy snowfall, but with strong will and sincerity, we believe that anything can be accomplished, following the principle of Geumseok Wi Gae (金石爲開). We are doing our best to ensure citizens' safety and support for damage. Along with public officials, we are dedicating ourselves to stabilizing people's livelihoods and will mobilize all administrative power to ensure the swift declaration of special disaster areas and smooth budget support."
