Through a special lecture, Representative Park proposed ways to manage the political situation following the passage of the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol in the National Assembly and the path the Democratic Party should take.

Park said, “The impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol is a great victory for the people, and Haenam, Wando, Jindo, Naju, and Hwasun stood at the forefront,” adding, “Regarding the impeachment, National Assembly Judiciary Committee Chairman Jeong Cheong-rae should take responsibility, and the Democratic Party should take responsibility for and manage the livelihood issues separately.”

He continued, “The Constitutional Court should stabilize state affairs with a prompt ruling,” and emphasized, “The National Assembly should swiftly propose the December 3rd Special Investigation Act on the insurrection, form a special investigation team to unify investigations scattered across various agencies, and prevent disputes such as dismissal of indictments during future trials regarding the prosecution’s investigation of insurrection charges.”

He strongly demanded the prompt implementation of a special investigation into Kim Geon-hee. He also argued, “Acting Prime Minister Han Deok-soo should refrain from exercising veto power or personnel authority over laws passed by the National Assembly and should focus only on managing the situation.”

He added, “Considering the current analysis of the Trump administration’s appointments, it is expected that North Korea-US dialogue will begin, so preparations must be made.”
