Former Minister Lee appeared before the Special Investigation Unit around 2 p.m. that day as a suspect, accompanied by his legal counsel.
He is accused of conspiring in advance and endorsing the illegal martial law by attending the Cabinet meeting during the emergency martial law period.
Former Minister Lee resigned from his position after the Democratic Party of Korea filed an impeachment motion on the 7th.
