KEPCO MCS Gyeongnam Branch Donates Hope Dream Changwon Bank Fund to Changwon Special City

Prepared for Neighbors in Need During Year-End and New Year

On the 16th, KEPCO MCS Gyeongnam Branch donated 5.28 million KRW in love donations to help neighbors in need in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.

The donated funds were collected through small contributions from employees of 18 branches of KEPCO MCS Gyeongnam Branch and will be used meaningfully to support vulnerable groups in the area through Changwon City's dedicated sponsorship account, Hope Dream Changwon Bank.


Kim Byung-yoon, head of the Gyeongnam branch, said, “We made this donation with the hope of helping neighbors who are marginalized and struggling around us. I hope it will be of some help for our neighbors to get through the winter. We will continue to practice warm sharing in the future.”


Jang Geum-yong, the first deputy mayor, expressed, “We deeply appreciate the warm hearts of the KEPCO MCS Gyeongnam branch employees who gathered their sincerity for neighbors in need in the region. The precious donation will be delivered well to those neighbors who need help.”


Meanwhile, KEPCO MCS, a subsidiary of Korea Electric Power Corporation, is a public institution mainly responsible for electricity meter reading. The organization consists of 1 headquarters, 6 divisions, 8 offices, 19 departments, and 15 branches nationwide, among which the Gyeongnam branch operates a total of 18 branches.
