Jinyoung Park Donates 1 Billion KRW Annually Since 2022
Continues Donations Through Headquarters Beyond Personal Contributions
Singer and JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin-young donated 200 million KRW to Jeju National University Hospital.
According to Jeju National University Hospital on the 16th, Park Jin-young delivered the donation to Professor Choi Sung-wook, head of the Jeju National University Hospital Development Support Association, at the JYP headquarters in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, on the 10th. This donation was made as part of Park Jin-young's social contribution project 'EDM (Every Dream Matters!).'

The donation will be used to cover medical expenses such as treatment, surgery, and rehabilitation for pediatric patients in the Jeju area. At the donation ceremony on the 10th, Park Jin-young said, "I have two daughters aged five and four. When they sometimes get sick and we go to the hospital, it feels very heavy on my heart," adding, "I wondered how parents would feel if they were also struggling financially, and this led me to donate for medical expenses."
Previously, Park Jin-young donated 200 million KRW each to Yonsei Medical Center, Gangneung Asan Hospital, Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital, and Busan Paik Hospital. This year alone, he has donated a total of 1 billion KRW from his personal funds to support vulnerable children and adolescents facing difficulties due to high surgery and treatment costs. Park Jin-young has been continuously donating for children and adolescents every year. Last year, he donated a total of 1 billion KRW, 200 million KRW each to Samsung Seoul Hospital, Seoul Asan Hospital, Chungnam National University Hospital, Chonnam National University Hospital, and Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital. In 2022, he also donated a total of 1 billion KRW, 500 million KRW each to Samsung Seoul Hospital and the international relief and development NGO World Vision, to support surgeries, transplants, and treatment for congenital rare incurable diseases for domestic and overseas pediatric patients. From 2022 to 2024, Park Jin-young has donated a total of 3 billion KRW to nine domestic hospitals and one NGO, helping 276 children in Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
J.Y. Park has been continuously donating for children and adolescents every year. Last year, he donated a total of 1 billion KRW, giving 200 million KRW each to Samsung Seoul Hospital, Asan Medical Center, Chungnam National University Hospital, Chonnam National University Hospital, and Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital. In addition to personal donations, this year he returned 2.85421 billion KRW in donations under the company name through the EDM support project, and 12 million yen (approximately 112.03 million KRW) under the name of the Japanese branch. Since 2019, JYP Entertainment has donated a cumulative total of 6.342145 billion KRW and 48 million yen (approximately 448.15 million KRW) under the Japanese branch name, bringing hope to a total of 3,428 children domestically and internationally.
Following Park Jin-young, JYP artists are also participating in high-value personal donations. TWICE’s Nayeon donated 30 million KRW in the first half of this year to support patients from rural areas and became the first member of the 'Honor Society' of the Community Chest of Korea in 2024. Stray Kids’ Felix also donated 50 million KRW to World Vision in February last year following the Syria-Turkey earthquake disaster.
