Guri-si to Accept Applications for Soil Conditioner Support Project from 2026 to 2028

Applications Open from the 16th for Farmland Soil Environment Conservation and Sustainable Eco-Friendly Agriculture Promotion

The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) will accept applications for soil conditioner supply for 2026-2028 from the 16th until February 20, 2025, to improve soil fertility, preserve the soil environment, and promote sustainable eco-friendly agriculture.

The soil conditioner support project provides siliceous fertilizer and calcareous fertilizers such as lime marl and waste fossil lime free of charge, conducted on a three-year cycle per farmland.

Agricultural management entities wishing to receive soil conditioners can submit an application form indicating farmland information, type of fertilizer, and supply period (2026-2028) to the Industrial Support Division of the City Hall.

According to Article 4 of the "Act on the Fostering and Support of Agricultural and Fishery Management Entities," only farmlands registered in the applicant's agricultural management entity registration information are eligible for support, so agricultural management information must be updated in advance to avoid exclusion.

A Guri city official stated, "Silica and lime, which are soil conditioners, help prevent pests and diseases, prevent soil acidification, and greatly improve crop quality, with effects lasting for three years after application. We encourage many farmers to apply."
