The program will be conducted from February to December next year, targeting a total of 550 children and adolescents. Eligible applicants are low-income families (including near-poor) aged 7 to 19 residing in Jeongeup, children from multicultural families, and children from families with two or more children.

Selected candidates will receive 90% of the academy fees based on a monthly fee of 150,000 KRW, amounting to 135,000 KRW, through partner academies. Students are responsible for the remaining 10%, which is 15,000 KRW. However, if the academy fee exceeds 150,000 KRW, the excess amount must be paid by the student. Additionally, duplicate support from similar programs such as the Sports Activity Voucher, Community Service Investment Project, and the Bigger Tree Growing Project is excluded.

Applications can be submitted at the resident centers in the applicant’s town, township, or neighborhood office.

Mayor Lee Hak-su stated, “We will support all children and adolescents to enjoy learning opportunities without exclusion and to find career paths suited to their aptitudes. We hope that the young dreamers growing up in Jeongeup can confidently plan their futures.”
