A Poem Chanting Peace and Hope
Singer Park Hyo-shin presents a warm voice to fans during the cold winter with his new single 'HERO'.
On the 16th, his agency Hubig Haro announced that Park Hyo-shin will release his new single 'HERO' on music platforms at 6 p.m. that day.
Through 'HERO', which he sings calmly as if reciting poetry over a beautiful melody, Park Hyo-shin plans to deliver a message of comfort and hope. As this is his first new song in about five years, he participated not only in the vocals but also in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of 'HERO'. A distinctive feature is that he minimized flashy techniques throughout the entire process.
Hubig Haro introduced the song, saying, "The lyrics were completed as if writing a letter with a heartfelt wish for someone's daily safety, and Park Hyo-shin calmly conveys a message of comfort and hope as if reciting poetry over a beautiful melody."
'HERO' was featured as the title track of the movie 'Firefighter', which was released on the 4th, ahead of its official release. Having resonated with the message the film wanted to convey, Park Hyo-shin released 'HERO' to the world first. It is a song dedicated to those who silently devote themselves for others and those who spread love from unseen places.
Earlier, Park Hyo-shin shared on his Instagram, "I pray that today becomes a day that can comfort us more than any words right now."
The 'HERO' music video, released along with the song, depicts a journey of finding peace and hope amid chaos and hardship. This track is expected to be included in Park Hyo-shin's eighth full-length album, scheduled for release early next year.
