The 50 trainees participating in the 7th Shinhan Career Up received six weeks of practical skills and employment competitiveness training at the virtual company ‘SOL Company’ set up in Shinhan Xpace.

The trainees received various training from experts in each field, including job training, mentoring by current employees, and PR material production, and created practical portfolios by carrying out actual corporate projects.

After completing the training, Shinhan Bank plans to support successful employment by providing trainees with management services such as ▲mock interviews ▲resume editing ▲portfolio feedback, as well as competency assessment tests to monitor individual growth.

At the graduation ceremony, an awards ceremony was also held for outstanding trainees who diligently completed the training course, providing prize money and awards. A corporate representative participating in Shinhan Career Up said, “The participants’ portfolios are of such high quality that they can be immediately implemented,” adding, “It was an opportunity to obtain solutions to problems the company had been considering, and we plan to hire outstanding participants.”

A Shinhan Bank official said, “The employment rates for the 3rd and 4th classes reached 87.5% and 86.4%, respectively, showing great help to job seekers, so we expanded the operation from twice a year to three times a year starting this year,” and added, “We will continue to provide high-quality programs for young people and further develop this win-win social contribution project.”
