During the impeachment political turmoil, the support rate for the Democratic Party of Korea exceeded 50%. Following the passage of the impeachment motion in the National Assembly, President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating was suspended.

According to a public opinion poll released on the 16th by Realmeter (commissioned by Energy Economy Newspaper, conducted on the 12th-13th with 1,001 nationwide voters aged 18 and over, using 97% wireless and 3% wired automated response method, with a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points, and a response rate of 6.9%), the Democratic Party's support rate rose by 4.8 percentage points to 52.4%. The People Power Party's support rate fell by 0.5 percentage points to 25.7%.

The People’s Innovation Party increased by 0.7 percentage points to 8.0%, while the Reform New Party decreased by 1.5 percentage points to 2.8%.

The Democratic Party saw increases of 14.0 percentage points in Gwangju and Jeolla, 11.3 percentage points in Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong, 4.9 percentage points in Incheon and Gyeonggi, and 3.3 percentage points in Seoul. The People Power Party’s support rebounded in the Yeongnam region, rising by 5.4 percentage points in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, and by 5.2 percentage points in Daegu and Gyeongbuk.

The weekly presidential approval ratings were not released. Realmeter explained, "Due to the passage of the impeachment motion against President Yoon, the survey will be suspended until the Constitutional Court’s ruling. If the impeachment is upheld and the president is removed from office, the survey will not resume; if the motion is dismissed and the president returns to office, the survey will resume."
