Acceleration of Domestic Fashion Brands' Expansion into Japan
Musinsa announced on the 16th that it has signed an MOU for a strategic partnership with ZOZO, the operator of the Japanese online fashion platform 'ZOZOTOWN.' Through this, Musinsa plans to accelerate the entry of domestic fashion designer brands into the Japanese market.
Recently, Jomanho, Musinsa's Chief Executive Officer, and Park Junmo, Musinsa's CEO, signed the MOU with Kotaro Sawada, President and CEO of ZOZO, at ZOZO's headquarters in Japan.

Starting with this MOU, the two companies plan to jointly carry out activities aimed at expanding sales and market entry of domestic fashion brands into Japan. ZOZO plans to provide various support related to distribution and marketing within Japan to help domestic designer brands wishing to enter the Japanese market conduct their business stably. Musinsa will act as a domestic partner for domestic designer brands lacking the manpower and resources necessary for entering the Japanese market, serving as a bridge connecting Korea and Japan.
Musinsa has already confirmed synergy with ZOZO by operating an online pop-up store on ZOZOTOWN in the first half of this year. Through the online pop-up store, various domestic fashion brands were introduced to Japanese customers, and limited-edition products created in collaboration with Japanese influencers attracted significant attention.
Jomanho, Musinsa's Chief Executive Officer, stated, “Over the past 2 to 3 years, Musinsa has built a stable business environment through various experiments and challenges to target the Japanese fashion market. Taking this MOU as an opportunity, we will continue diverse cooperation with ZOZO, the largest fashion e-commerce company in Japan, so that domestic fashion brands can actively expand their sales in the Japanese market.”
