According to the legal community on the 15th, the Special Investigation Headquarters for Emergency Martial Law (headed by Park Se-hyun, Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office) is investigating former Minister Kim, who was arrested on charges of engaging in important duties during a rebellion and abuse of authority, starting from 2 p.m. that day. This marks the second consecutive day of summons following the previous day.

Kim's side is reported to be considering exercising the 'right to remain silent' again, as they did the day before. Kim's legal team told reporters, "We will review whether to exercise the (right to remain silent) regarding the interrogation matters," adding, "The basic stance remains the same as the previous day."

Regarding the claim made the previous day by the Democratic Party's Yoon Seok-yeol Rebellion Truth Investigation Team that former Intelligence Command Commander No Sang-won, who is close to Kim, was significantly involved in the December 3 emergency martial law incident, the defense stated, "The prosecution showed us the (relevant) documents and demanded explanations," adding, "We do not know how the Democratic Party's documents were delivered to the prosecution. This is an illegal investigation that has lost the neutrality and fairness of the investigative agency." They further added that they plan to refuse to testify as a way of not cooperating with the illegal investigation.
