On the 15th, Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeonnam Province, convened an 'Emergency Livelihood Stabilization Measures Meeting' at the provincial office, stating, "Now that the impeachment motion has been passed, it is time to focus all efforts on restoring livelihoods," and instructed the prompt and proactive preparation of countermeasures.

Following the passage of the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol at the National Assembly the previous day, Governor Kim ordered the allocation of contingency funds to support small business owners and residents in recovering their daily lives and mitigating economic shocks.

At the emergency meeting, regarding the impeachment political situation, Governor Kim evaluated it as "a victory of the people who stopped the anti-state, anti-constitutional, and anti-democratic violent acts that attempted to destroy the constitutional order of the Republic of Korea," and emphasized, "I believe that the remaining procedures will also be handled swiftly in accordance with the solemn demands of the era and the stern orders of the people." He added, "Jeonnam Province will immediately implement all measures to help residents restore their daily lives as soon as possible and minimize economic shocks."

He also instructed that key provincial administration issues such as the Integrated University National Medical School, Jeonnam Special Self-Governing Province, activation of Muan International Airport, and expansion of SOC be carried out smoothly as originally planned.

Governor Kim reiterated, "Priority must be given to revitalizing the livelihood economy, and contingency funds should be urgently deployed to quickly identify and implement livelihood stabilization measures for small and medium-sized enterprises, small business owners, the travel industry, farmers and fishermen, and vulnerable groups," and urged, "Public officials and related organizations should foster a spirit of coexistence through year-end gatherings to support struggling local markets, self-employed individuals, and small business owners during the year-end and New Year season."
